Lawyer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer to join our team in the Mergers and Exemptions Law Unit. This is a challenging opportunity to work on complex issues related to mergers and acquisitions, providing legal advice and guidance.

The successful candidate will be working on strategic and legal policy advice on complex issues relating to the functions and powers of the ACCC under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.

  • Providing strategic and legal policy advice on complex issues.
  • Conducting research and analysis to develop recommendations.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Admission as a practitioner of the High Court or the Supreme Court of an Australian State or Territory.
  • Experience in working effectively as a lawyer advising and guiding line areas.
  • Knowledge of Part IV of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
