Associate Lawyer

**The role**:
We are currently looking for a lawyer (2-3 years PAE) to join our corporate team in Brisbane. This position will work closely with experienced and respected Partners, providing legal advice across a wide spectrum of matters and acting for a variety of clients across various industries. Exposure to transactional work (including some capital markets work) and corporate advisory will be highly regarded for this position. Matters will range from mergers and acquisitions, corporate, commercial and strategic advisory work, IPOs and secondary capital raisings. To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Possess experience in the management of matters as well as a background in Corporate Advisory / Mergers & Acquisitions / Capital Markets with a mid-market focus;
- Have a hands-on approach as a client-focused lawyer, with good relationship-building and communication skills;
- Possess a willingness to understand clients' commercial needs and objectives and provide solutions to achieve these;
- Provide pragmatic and innovative legal advice to the firm's corporate clients; and
