Belt Services Superintendent Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Belt Services Superintendent to join our client's service branch in Kalgoorlie. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of the service branch, including workshop services, mechanical field services, and conveyor belt maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective management and guidance to the mechanical and belt splicing/rubber lining teams.
  • Investigate customer complaints and ensure quality, tolerance, and specifications are met.
  • Ensure the branch reaches set targets, including financial and operational KPIs.
  • Ensure all company OH&S policies and procedures are met.
  • Provide technical liaison services between product divisions, sales personnel, and customers.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with conveyor belt systems.
  • Significant experience managing or supervising a mining-related service operation.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to motivate and guide others.
  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to read and analyze financial and operational reports.
