Rehabilitation Specialist

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients to identify their goals and provide necessary psychological or physical supports to enhance their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Case management with assistance from healthcare professionals to reduce administrative tasks
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes and employee productivity
  • Collaborating with employers and employees to develop injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Working with injured workers, medical, and allied health professionals to achieve successful rehabilitation results
  • Conducting vocational assessments and injury prevention services to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Counselling
  • Current registration with AHPRA or ASORC Membership
  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly valued
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and compassion
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • A current driver's license and access to own vehicle with insurance
