Rehabilitation Consultant

This is an opportunity to work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team who are collaborative, supportive, and fun.

  • Job Summary: We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling (Bachelor in Psychology - Honours) interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector.

  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions, supporting their return to health and work outcomes.

    • Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks.

    • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.

    • Working with employers and employees to develop injury prevention and workplace education programs.

    • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals.

    • Conducting vocational assessments and injury prevention services.

  • Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.

    • Acceptance of applications with a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and support for ASORC membership and supervision.

    • Current General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership.

    • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.

    • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and compassion.

    • Strong time management skills.

    • A current QLD Driver's License and access to own car with insurance.
