Senior Rehabilitation Counsellor Opportunity

This is a unique chance to work in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector. As a member of our team, you will have the flexibility and autonomy to manage your day while being supported by a strong team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks;
  • Mentoring, coaching and supervising consultants to achieve service delivery, customer service and billable minimum threshold targets;
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
  • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes through various assessments using clinical skills.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • Full membership of the relevant professional association;
  • Previous experience working in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry;
  • Fabulous communication skills to get to know clients and stakeholders;
  • Compassion and kindness, as well as empathy, are essential for this role;
  • Well-developed time management skills are a must;
  • A current driver's license and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is required.
