Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to manage accounts payable processes, ensure timely payments, and maintain accurate records.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume invoices and match them to purchase orders
- Cost and code invoices, allocating costing to jobs
- Make weekly and monthly payments
- Perform reconciliations, including supplier statement reconciliations
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding accounts payable activities
- Liaise with suppliers as needed
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
- Accurate data entry skills
- The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment, building positive stakeholder relationships
- Intermediate level experience in MS Office and JDE (Oracle based system) or similar ERP system
- Positive team player with sound verbal and written communication skills
- A self-starter with a can-do proactive attitude
