We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Leader to join our team and drive the culinary experience at Arcare.

About the Role:

The Culinary Leader will be responsible for leading the kitchen team in providing high-quality meals that cater to the dietary needs of residents. This includes planning menus, preparing meals, ensuring quality control, managing inventory and budget, and collaborating with dietitians to analyze nutritional content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning: Assist with designing nutritious and diverse menus that cater to resident dietary requirements, health conditions, and preferences.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals using fresh ingredients, following proper food handling and safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all meals meet high-quality standards in taste, appearance, and portion sizes, making adjustments as needed based on resident feedback.
  • Inventory & Budget Management: Manage stock levels and budget efficiently by sourcing ingredients cost-effectively and minimizing waste.
  • Nutritional Analysis: Collaborate with dietitians to analyze the nutritional content of meals, aiming to provide well-balanced and healthy options for residents.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or higher qualification.
  • Community and Health Services - Food Safety Supervisor Certification.
  • Adaptable, passionate about delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
