About the Role

The ADF Cadets Governance Officer is a key position within the Reserve and Cadet Support Division, responsible for providing high-quality reporting and secretariat outcomes. This role requires strong administrative and coordination skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reporting and secretariat outcomes
  • Provide executive support to various committees
  • Monitor regulatory compliance requirements
  • Maintain registers of interests and board resolution registers
  • Coordinate and distribute meeting papers, submissions, and reports
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships within the Division and the respective cadet organisations. They will also possess strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to use judgement and initiative to solve complex problems.

About Our Team

The Reserve and Cadet Support Division provides a range of support services, including Youth Policy, Programs and Training, and ICT Services and Projects. The ADF Cadets Directorate works closely with the Division to achieve standardisation across the three cadet programs, making administration more effective, efficient, and coherent.
