About This Opportunity

This role is part of our National Contracts Team and involves reviewing, negotiating and executing supply contracts. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the Contract Review & Management Process.

Key responsibilities include reviewing risk management guidelines, Holcim's Golden Rules and Limits of Authority to ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.

The position also involves collaborating with various departments including Project Managers, Account Managers, Technical, Logistics, Operations, HSE, Customer Service and Credit.

A key focus of this role is to build and maintain effective relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and foster positive relationships and effective communication with internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in law, engineering, business, accounting, quantity surveying or project management and possess strong commercial acumen and well-developed interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Google Apps and PDF software is also required as well as knowledge of competition legislation, compliance requirements and relevant industry directives.

About You
  • Degree in law, engineering, business, accounting, quantity surveying, project management or a related discipline.
  • Understanding of the construction or similar industry.
  • Familiarity and understanding of common forms of supply contracts and agreements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems.
  • Strong commercial acumen and well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with excellent communication abilities.
  • Ability to drive performance, cultivate relationships and foster teamwork.
  • Knowledge of competition legislation, compliance requirements and relevant industry directives.
