Job Description

We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Advisor to join our team. This role involves ensuring the organisation meets regulatory authority requirements and remains compliant with the National Law and Regulations.

The Role:
  1. Be the first point of contact between various stakeholders, ensuring effective communication.
  2. Analyse and respond to incoming complaints and incidents, gathering accurate information.
  3. Manage and coordinate the management of reportable incidents and complaints, notifying internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  4. Track and ensure matters requiring external notifications are actioned and closed out by legislative deadlines.
  5. Provide support and advice on regulatory compliance, particularly regarding the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  6. Prepare reports, submissions, and briefs for senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  7. Maintain and update relevant databases and information storage systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in compliance and enforcement or regulatory environments (desired but not mandatory).
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in liaising with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle compliance issues professionally.
