About This Role:

A dynamic and experienced legal professional is sought to join our team as a specialist in regulatory compliance.

This role will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives that support business growth and operational excellence. Key responsibilities include reviewing and advising on legal risks associated with contracts and commercial dealings, developing risk management solutions and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of legislation and case law to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Draft and review non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents as required.
  • Provide expert advice on areas of law including privacy and data protection, workplace laws, trade laws, contract laws and corporations laws.
  • Engage with stakeholders and agents of the business regarding legal and compliance matters.

About You:

To be successful you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Laws degree and eligibility for solicitor registration.
  • A proven track record of analysing and evaluating complex legal and compliance risks across various regulatory regimes.
  • Background in contract review, including procurement contracts, sales contracts and confidentiality agreements.
  • Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive compliance programs and policies for global operations.
