We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Recovery and RTW Team as a Case Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life every day.
Job DescriptionThis is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong customer service skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of 0 – 55 week claims, providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, and supporting injured workers to recover and return to work.
Our team works closely with designated specialist roles, including a RTW Specialist, Technical Specialist, Clinical Advisor, Mental Injury Specialist, and Mobile Case Managers, to ensure that our employees and stakeholders receive the support they need.
Your Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service-oriented approach that focuses on early intervention and the interests of workers and employers.
- Implement active and timely strategies to improve recovery and return to work outcomes.
- Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers, and providers.
- Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and engage appropriate support services such as Mobile Case Management or Occupational Rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with the broader EML Team and WorkSafe to support positive outcomes for injured workers.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A passion for customer service.
- The ability to thrive in a team environment and collaborate with others.
- Experience managing claims in the workers compensation industry or other personal injury environment.
- Knowledge of the Victorian workers compensation scheme, legislation, and policies.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- A commitment to supporting injured workers with their recovery and return to work.
