About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our Recovery and RTW Team as a Case Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life every day.

Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong customer service skills, excellent time management, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of 0 – 55 week claims, providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, and supporting injured workers to recover and return to work.

Our team works closely with designated specialist roles, including a RTW Specialist, Technical Specialist, Clinical Advisor, Mental Injury Specialist, and Mobile Case Managers, to ensure that our employees and stakeholders receive the support they need.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate a service-oriented approach that focuses on early intervention and the interests of workers and employers.
  2. Implement active and timely strategies to improve recovery and return to work outcomes.
  3. Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers, and providers.
  4. Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and engage appropriate support services such as Mobile Case Management or Occupational Rehabilitation.
  5. Collaborate with the broader EML Team and WorkSafe to support positive outcomes for injured workers.

  3. Experience managing claims in the workers compensation industry or other personal injury environment.
  4. Knowledge of the Victorian workers compensation scheme, legislation, and policies.
  5. Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  6. A commitment to supporting injured workers with their recovery and return to work.
