Principal Policy and Governance Advisor Contract Opportunity

Lime Recruitment is partnering with a large Queensland government department to recruit a Principal Policy and Governance Advisor on a 6-month contract. This role is based in the Brisbane CBD and offers the flexibility of working from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate business process workshops to drive operational efficiency.
  • Implement legislative frameworks to operationalise work health and safety laws, ensuring compliance and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain internal operational processes documentation, including procedures, templates, and workflow diagrams.
  • Prepare and/or organise the preparation of complex reports, briefing notes, presentations, and correspondence, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Provide timely and expert advice to the Project Manager, leveraging your expertise to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated skills in documenting business processes and developing adequate documentation, with a focus on clarity and precision.
  • Ability to confidently liaise with staff at all levels, fostering strong relationships and effective communication.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring the highest quality deliverables.
  • Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience operationalising safety laws, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
