Senior Life Underwriter Opportunity

A leading provider of financial protection and risk management services seeks a highly skilled Senior Life & Health Underwriter to join their dynamic team.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive technical underwriting knowledge, including comprehensive mortality, critical illness, ABD, and disability benefits. Additionally, they should be knowledgeable about market regulations and business frameworks, capable of providing valuable inputs to business and pricing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex cases and claims re-underwriting, ensuring consistent, competitive, and timely decisions.
  • Develop client-specific underwriting strategies for assigned markets and support business teams in identifying potential opportunities.
  • Organize meetings, webinars, workshops, and training initiatives to engage with key clients.
  • Participate in developing underwriting and operational manuals to reflect market practices and client expectations in the APAC region.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Life (re)insurance.
  • Extensive technical underwriting knowledge comprehensive mortality, critical illness, ABD, and disability benefits.
  • Knowledgeable about market regulations and business frameworks, capable of providing valuable inputs to business and pricing teams.

This role is ideal for those with a strong grasp of group and retail market products, particularly in ANZ, with additional experience in the APAC market.
