Legal Advisor Role

This role involves advising on life insurance products and policy documents, reviewing disclosure material and marketing. You will also advise on legal matters relevant to our business, including regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3-7 years' legal experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of laws governing the sector. They should be able to provide expert advice on complex legal matters and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.

We welcome applications from qualified lawyers who are admitted as solicitors in Australia and possess excellent communication skills. Knowledge of life insurance products, group insurance, retirement income, or commercial contracts is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on life insurance products and policy documents
  • Review disclosure material and marketing
  • Provide legal advice on regulatory compliance and corporate governance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Admitted as a solicitor in Australia
  • At least 3-7 years' legal experience in financial services
  • Excellent knowledge of financial services laws
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
