Travel Experience Specialist

We are seeking a Travel Experience Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional travel experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales to oversee the reservations process, focusing on group and event reservations.
  • Maintain high guest service standards while managing yield and occupancy to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Foster effective communication with various departments regarding guest movements, arrivals, and departures.
  • Contribute to the implementation of operational plans to meet hotel sales and revenue objectives.

Requirements:

  • Australian work permit.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests, employees, and third parties.
  • Strong reading and writing abilities for paperwork, instructions, and training.
  • Basic math skills, including budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances.
  • Problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational, and training abilities.
  • Ability to travel for workshops, specialized training, and certifications.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
