Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Running the pass during busy service times to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of dishes to surpass guest expectations;
  • Supporting the Head Chef with menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation;
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment;
  • Creating and managing staff rosters;
  • Managing food safety and ensuring adherence to compliance and safety standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment;
  • Ability to lead effective teams and build a positive culture;
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment;
  • Operational experience in achieving financial and business targets;
  • Trade Cooking qualifications;
  • The desire to be part of a fun, productive, and professional team.
