Our organization is seeking a Lead to spearhead our Storage and Data Protection initiatives. This role involves overseeing a team of skilled engineers who work collaboratively with business stakeholders, industry partners, and customers to deliver innovative solutions.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of platform and software engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and driving results-oriented outcomes. They will also be accountable for communicating engineering practices and standards across squads and ensuring consistency in our ways of working.

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the performance and efficiency of our data protection services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage senior stakeholders to ensure prioritization and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Mentor and up-skill engineers within the team and adjacent teams to drive learning and growth.

We are interested in candidates with a strong background in storage and data backup technologies, including expertise in block, file, and object protocol-based platforms. Experience in software development, cloud automation, observability, and SRE is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
