Executive Director, Public Engagement

As a high-ranking executive with the National Disability Insurance Scheme, you will oversee national communications, engagement, and education functions. This critical role requires shaping and delivering strategies to build awareness of participant rights, strengthen provider capabilities, and enhance the regulator's reputation.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead national communications, media, campaigns, and engagement strategies to achieve measurable communication outcomes.
- Oversee educational resources explaining obligations under the NDIS Code of Conduct for providers and workers.
- Build strong relationships with governments, the disability sector, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure inclusive and accessible communications (WCAG 2.1 AA).
- Identify and deliver new digital opportunities to strengthen the Commission's approaches.
- Extensive senior executive experience in communications, engagement, and/or education.
- Outstanding leadership, strategic influence, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to the rights of people with disability and inclusive practice.
