Marketing Strategy Director
Dispensed is seeking a Marketing Strategy Director to own and drive the full marketing function across Dispensed and VeteranCann. This role provides strategic direction while remaining hands-on in execution, ensuring campaigns and initiatives support business growth targets.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Marketing Strategy Director will unify brand strategy across markets, guide a growing marketing team, and ensure campaigns reflect our product expertise and patient-first mission.
This position reports to the leadership team and collaborates closely with our Digital Advertising Specialist, Social Media Manager, and Digital Marketing Coordinator, while also working cross-functionally with Operations, Medical, Sales, and People & Culture.
The Marketing Strategy Director will play a pivotal role in driving global expansion into Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall marketing strategy across paid, organic, and digital channels, ensuring activity aligns with business growth targets.
Lead, mentor, and manage the marketing team, driving strong performance across paid ads, social content, and campaign execution.
Provide creative and strategic oversight for all advertising and digital content, ensuring brand consistency and compliance across campaigns.
Partner with Operations, Medical, and Sales teams to translate product expertise into compelling, patient-first marketing.
Drive marketing automation, email campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives.
Deliver clear, actionable reporting that ties marketing activity directly to lead generation, brand awareness, and business outcomes.
Qualifications
Experience leading marketing strategy and execution across multiple channels (digital, social, campaigns, content, brand).
Strong people management skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
Ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on involvement in execution.
Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable growth, brand awareness, and engagement outcomes.
Background in health-tech, SaaS, or consumer technology, ideally within a scaling or start-up environment is a major plus.
