Job Title: Policy Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Policy Advisor to join our team at Flexhive. As a Policy Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery, and evaluation of projects related to legislation, policy, and regulation.

About the Role

The successful candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of integrity and compliance approaches and frameworks for our organization. You will conduct research and analysis, provide input on policy advice and proposals, document preparation, project delivery, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, collate, and compile information to identify emerging integrity and compliance issues and anticipate legislative changes and policy reforms.
  • Provide advice and support to the Principal Advisor and the broader Integrity and Regulation Branch leadership team on matters related to process improvement, integrity, compliance, policy, and regulation reforms.
  • Prepare high-quality, factual, and accurate reports, presentations, and correspondence that are clear, concise, and grammatically correct.
  • Support projects as required by the Integrity and Regulation Branch leadership team, including taking a leading role in the development, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of projects.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Public Administration, Regulatory Policy, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Proven experience in policy analysis, development, and regulatory reform processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarise complex issues into easily understood concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in establishing and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
