About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at JRM Hospitality. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences and contributing to the growth and success of our renowned venue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, menu development, and adherence to hygiene and portion control standards.
  • Maintain food and labour costs within budget, minimizing wastage and empowering the team with regard to efficiency and innovation.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, and development of kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance culture through strong leadership.
  • Bring creative input to the kitchen, driving innovation and excellence in culinary operations.
  • Experience with stock management and ordering is essential.

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
