Operational Excellence is key to delivering outstanding results in a fast-paced environment. We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Coordinator to join our team and work closely with the Deputy Regional Director. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience in either WHS, Fleet/Asset management, Events/Logistics.
About You
We are looking for someone who has experience working with communities and understands the importance of cultural sensitivity and awareness. You will be able to work respectfully and collaboratively with communities, and have a high degree of organisational and problem solving skills to maintain operational safety.
About The Role
The Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of operational activities within our organisation. The role encompasses oversight and management of fleet (cars and buses), facilities and contributes to the workplace health and safety processes. Other duties include administrative support to staff, allocating pick up/drop off rosters, conducting vehicle safety checks and general hazard reduction. A current Drivers License is essential to the role.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Management:
- Oversee the allocation and scheduling of vehicles
- Act as contact point for all fleet enquiries
- Coordinate driving rosters for bus drivers and transport officers
- Monitor fleet performance
Facilities Management:
- Coordinate regular inspections of building and grounds to identify repairs and maintenance
- Maintain a log of maintenance activities
- Develop a schedule for routine grounds maintenance - waste, landscaping
Asset Management:
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of detailed inventory of assets relating to building, fittings, furnishings and grounds
- Assist with procurement
Camps, Events And Cultural Nights:
- Participate and contribute to the planning and coordination of camps, events, family nights and funder visits
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to ensure seamless execution of these activities
- Contribute to the documentation of event planning processes and outcomes to improve future operations
Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain safe working conditions and practices
- Represent us in key meetings
- Ensure data and information is being entered into systems to meet monitoring and evaluation needs
