Electrical Reliability Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Reliability Engineer to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the electrical assets of our facility operate at optimal levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide electrical reliability engineering support to our fixed plant maintenance department.
  • Offer specialized engineering expertise in areas such as compliance, defect elimination, process control improvements, and condition monitoring.
  • Develop new and existing maintenance strategies and tactics.
  • Account for the electrical asset condition monitoring program.
  • Lead investigations into electrical defects and failures.
  • Collaborate with other teams to drive plant performance from an electrical perspective.

Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • A collaborative team player who supports groups' reliability initiatives and systems of work.
  • Experience with Citect/SCADA systems.
  • Previous experience applying reliability methods and techniques, including RCA facilitation, RCM application, and FMEA/FMECA development.
  • Knowledge of Australian Electrical & instrumentation installation Standards, industrial safety, engineering standards, and codes.
  • Proficient use of CMMS systems such as SAP, AX, or other similar software.
