Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Competency Coordinator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify training needs and objectives in collaboration with senior management and subject matter experts
  • Develop and maintain training packages, including presentations, manuals, and online resources
  • Design and implement training programs tailored to meet company goals and employee development needs
  • Ensure training content is relevant and complies with legislation and best practices
  • Liaise with external training providers and investigate and develop external training platforms
  • Plan and schedule training sessions, including booking venues, gathering materials, or travel arrangements as required
  • Maintain training registers and agreements
  • Develop and manage internal verification of competency training
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong understanding of high-risk activities in manufacturing is an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience developing online inductions is an advantage
  • A passion for learning and the development of others
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • Solid understanding of safety principles and best practice
  • TAE40122 Cert IV in Training and Assessment as a minimum (essential for this role)

This is a salaried position, working 40-45 hours per week. Salary: $80,000 to $100,000 per annum plus 12% superannuation, depending on experience.
