About the RoleThe Video Production Officer is a member of our Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) team, responsible for producing audio and video resources to support learning and teaching across the University.
- These resources will engage educators and provide support for recording and video facilities, while ensuring brand, technical and administrative requirements are met.
The responsibilities include:
- Producing high-quality audio and video resources for learning and teaching purposes.
- Collaborating with educators to ensure created content meets their needs and expectations.
- Maintaining accurate records of produced content and ensuring accessibility requirements are met.
- Celebrating success through innovative media solutions in an ever-evolving educational environment.
- Maintaining collaboration with other teams to integrate video and audio resources into online courses and platforms.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who can effectively produce engaging multimedia content that enhances our students' experience.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment where you can continually develop your skills and expertise in audiovisual production.
Key RequirementsTo be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training.
- A proven track record in creating motion graphics and operating professional video and audio production equipment.
- Excellent storytelling and editing skills, able to capture complex ideas and messages through various mediums.
- High-level customer service skills, enabling effective collaboration with staff, students, and community members.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, allowing you to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
