Salary

We offer a competitive salary package for this role, estimated to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Advisor. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a pivotal role in attracting, assessing, and acquiring top-tier talent for blue collar roles at Thiess. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their talent needs, develop effective recruitment strategies, and build a robust talent pipeline. Your exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills will be critical in identifying and engaging exceptional candidates who align with our values and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent requirements
  • Utilise various sourcing strategies to identify and attract high-quality candidates
  • Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including resume screening, phone interviews, assessment centres, and in-person/remote interviews
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, including interview coordination, feedback collection, reference checks, and offer negotiations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Advisor or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, including social media platforms, professional networks, and online job portals
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence candidates and stakeholders
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions
