About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Central Western Victoria.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients living in Ballarat and surrounding locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload and provide evidence-based therapeutic supports in a timely manner
  • Assess clients' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments
  • Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each client
  • Provide support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities
  • Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist clients with their functional limitations and to promote independence

  • Strive for continuous improvement of our practices and outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent and regular contact with all stakeholders
  • Current driver's license and own reliable vehicle
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified Occupational Therapist
  • Current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

Our estimated salary for this position is between AUD 80,000 - AUD 120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
