Process Sustainability Specialist Job Description

The Process Sustainability Specialist is responsible for analysing and evaluating the productivity, quality, and sustainability of processes. This role assists customers with identifying, articulating, developing, and implementing measurement and data analysis solutions to improve operational efficiency and enhance sustainability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Defining solutions based on customer business and technology needs
  • Supporting projects in managing data acquisition and handling
  • Keeping knowledge up to date regarding emerging practices and standards

Sustainability Focus:

The Process Sustainability Specialist identifies opportunities for improved sustainability, undertakes research activities, and develops detailed solutions, policies, and procedures regarding environmental sustainability.

Qualifications & Experience:

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in ecology, environmental sciences, biological sciences, or a relevant field, with post-graduate qualifications highly regarded. Relevant experience includes independent environmental research and analysis, management of complex data sets, and working in an industrial context.

Key Skills:

The ideal candidate has significant expertise in environmental research and management, intermediate to advanced coding skills, and experience in UNIX-like environments. Advanced statistical analysis and excellent written/verbal communication skills are also essential.
