As a highly skilled and experienced Lead Chef De Partie, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef / Sous Chef in the operation of the kitchen. Your primary objective will be to ensure that food standards, preparation, ordering, presentation and cooking techniques are carried out according to established recipes and standards.
- Supervise the kitchen team in the absence of the Executive and Sous Chefs.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to kitchen employees to meet service demands.
- Assist in menu preparation and ensure adequate supplies are available for expected service.
- Collaborate with Restaurant team members regarding menu items, additions, and changes.
- Maintain high presentation standards and cost control for all food and beverage outlets.
To succeed as a Lead Chef De Partie, you must have:
- Full Australian working rights.
- Previous experience in the hotel industry as a Chef De Partie.
- Strong knowledge of food safety requirements.
- A strong understanding of food safety procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
