As a seasoned leader, we are seeking an exceptional individual to spearhead our Risk and Compliance team. This role will be based in Melbourne or Sydney, with a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to assess and enhance Mercer's risk culture through surveys and data analysis, creating actionable plans for improvement.
  • Design and deliver tailored risk and compliance training programs to address capability gaps across Mercer Super and its related entities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and functional teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration on risk culture initiatives.
  • Champion a proactive risk culture by ensuring employees understand their roles and responsibilities in risk management.
  • Provide guidance and support to develop managers within the Risk and Compliance team.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a business-related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in risk culture programs within the financial services industry, preferably in superannuation.
  • A proven track record in culture programs and training development.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
