Psychiatric Education and Training Leader

Shape the future of psychiatric education and training by leading innovation and excellence in mental health education at a bi-national level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and delivery of innovative programs, strategies, and policies across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Drive the revision of the Fellowship Program and ensure compliance with accreditation standards set by the Australian and New Zealand Medical Councils.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that ensures educational programs are contemporary, inclusive, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of trainees, Fellows, and the profession.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered medical specialist with extensive experience working within large education or training organisations.
  • Demonstrable experience in governance, accreditation, and change management, with a strong understanding of postgraduate assessment processes and regulatory frameworks shaping professional education.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong social justice lens and a passion for delivering best practice in stakeholder engagement.
Flexible Employment Arrangements:
