We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Employment Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting individuals in achieving sustainable employment.

As a Senior Employment Specialist, you will play a vital part in our team by providing tailored employment support to clients. Your goal will be to ensure that they are ready for successful job placements.

You will collaborate closely with employers to identify suitable job opportunities for clients and deliver employment workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance their job-seeking skills.

Maintaining accurate records of client progress and outcomes is crucial in this role, and you will do so in accordance with organisational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist employment support to clients.
  • Collaborate with employers to secure job opportunities.
  • Deliver engaging employment workshops and coaching sessions.

The Ideal Candidate

A Successful Senior Employment Specialist Should Possess:

  • Relevant qualifications in human resources, social work or a related field.
  • Significant experience in employment services or a similar role within the Not For Profit sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports.
  • Knowledge of common employment barriers and strategies to overcome them.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving desired outcomes.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused services.
