Job Description- Provide tailored employment support to clients, ensuring their readiness for sustainable job placements.
- Collaborate with employers to identify suitable job opportunities for clients.
- Deliver employment workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance job-seeking skills.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and outcomes in accordance with organisational guidelines.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with external stakeholders, including community partners and training providers.
- Identify and address any barriers to employment for clients, offering practical solutions and support.
- Monitor and report on employment outcomes to ensure service delivery targets are met.
- Support the continuous improvement of employment service programs.
A Successful Senior Employment Specialist Should Have
- Relevant qualifications in human resources, social work, or a related field.
- Experience in employment services or a similar role within the Not For Profit sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports.
- Knowledge of employment barriers and strategies to overcome them.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving outcomes.
- Commitment to delivering client-focused services with professionalism and empathy.
- Hourly rate of $59 per hour
