Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies to engage our audience and drive business growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have one – three years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of creating engaging content and managing social media platforms. You will be proficient in using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and major social media platforms, including LinkedIn. Experience with media monitoring in a corporate capacity is also highly regarded.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing, creating, and publishing engaging written, video, and photo content on various internal and external channels, including social media, intranet, and websites.
  • Coordinating, scheduling, and approving content calendars and social media management platforms, including channel strategy and monitoring.
  • Assisting with the design and creation of marketing collateral (print, digital, video), advertising, and public relations campaigns.
  • Providing marketing support for sponsorships, exhibitions, and events.
  • Assisting with maintaining online brand guidelines and asset libraries.
  • Assisting with maintaining internal communication platforms, such as the Intranet, screensavers, and emails.
  • Managing and maintaining key analytical tools, including Google Analytics and Meltwater media monitoring, including collation and distribution of weekly reports.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One – three years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience using Canva platform.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop advantageous but not necessary.
  • Proficiency with major social media platforms (business experience with LinkedIn will be especially highly regarded).
  • Experience with media monitoring in a corporate capacity.
  • Excellent written skills, especially in developing engaging online content.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to self-manage, work methodically, and meet deadlines.
Benefits
