Job OverviewWe have an opening for a Project Scheduler in our Project Management team. This role involves generating, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules and programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules according to procedures and project requirements.
- Assist Operational Planners to translate schedules into executable plans in SAP and evaluate resource capacity.
- Implement project variations into the schedule to support effective change management.
- Coordinate project schedules, tasks, meeting updates, and efficient distribution of reports.
- Generate project reports and task lists to provide the Project Team with information and tools for project execution.
- Maintain project risk registers to minimize risks affecting schedule, scope, and budget.
- Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes and recommend work-arounds.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience as a scheduler for heavy equipment manufacture or overhaul, or construction, mining, or similar complex projects. They should be proficient in MS project scheduling software or other equivalents such as Primavera.
