Beaumont people are excited to be on the lookout for a Scheduling Coordinator to join a reputable not-for-profit organisation who have been supporting the independence and wellbeing of people within the community for over 30 years. The Scheduling Coordinator plays an integral role in the overall delivery of carer services by scheduling and rostering service support for unpaid carers in need of in-home support. The Scheduling Coordinator will work closely with the Customer Care Consultants and Service Providers to deliver the best possible service to people in need of support.
**About our client**
Your Side is a leading provider of support services for older people, people living with a disability, mental illness and carers. They are an NDIS and Aged Care Registered Provider based in 5 locations across Sydney.
**Role responsibilities**
- Maintain relationships with service providers and monitor/report on changes to in-home support scheduling
- Assess the available support resources at Your Side, and source additional service providers to further the organization's ability to provide crucial support
- Respond, action and coordinate services requested by carer gateway consultants for in-home support
- Maintain all data entry and records to ensure all information is up-to-date and services are coordinated effectively
- Ensure unforeseen changes to service (i.e., sick calls, cancellations, e.t.c) are responded to proactively and efficiently
**Essential Requirements**
- Previous professional rostering or scheduling experience
- Strong sector experience and knowledge of community support services
- Experience in workforce management
- Strong technical and data entry skills
- Vaccinated against Covid-19 (minimum 2 doses) or hold a medical exemption
