Business Analyst Role

This role is responsible for supporting the student lifecycle, developing a deep understanding of student systems and business processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both areas, with a proven track record of improving business processes and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of current and future student systems and business processes.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders, including investigation and resolution of Tier 2 issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that leverage system functionality.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the institution, facilitating discussions and delivering training as needed.
  • Research, prototype and test changes to system functionality, including configuration modifications and report specification.

Required Skills:

  • Strong business analysis skills, with experience in investigating and resolving complex issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear documentation.
  • Good level of negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, building strong relationships and influencing outcomes.
