Expert Rheumatology Specialist

This is a rare opportunity to join a leading teaching hospital in Northern Tasmania, combining career advancement with an enviable lifestyle.
- Specialist Practice – Provide comprehensive outpatient services across Northern Tasmania, as well as inpatient consultations where required.
- Leadership Role – Lead specialist Rheumatology clinics and coordinate patient care, providing expert advice and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuity of care.
- Mentorship – Mentor and supervise postgraduate trainees, and contribute to medical student teaching through the University of Tasmania.
This is an excellent opportunity to combine specialist practice with leadership in service design and delivery.
RequirementsEligible candidates will have:
- FRACP or Equivalent Qualification – Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent recognised overseas specialist qualification.
- Clinical Experience – Demonstrated experience in clinical service delivery, teaching, and research within Rheumatology.
- Registration Eligibility – Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
