Overview:

The Hotel Service Manager role is an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Housekeeping Team during day-to-day operations, suggesting improvements and changes
  • Determine work requirements and allocate duties to fellow staff members
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and rosters
  • Develop comprehensive cleaning standards for both guest rooms and public areas
  • Provide in-depth training to Room Attendants, ensuring the rooms are presented in accordance with brand cleanliness standards
  • Recognize recurring cleaning issues and address them promptly
  • Lead by example, utilizing proficiency in cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Confer with colleagues to resolve grievances
  • E nsure appropriate tools/equipment are provided to employees
  • Maintain strong knowledge of hygiene requirements and safe working procedures
  • Coordinate activities and establish effective communication with all departments to ensure seamless delivery of services to guests
  • Familiarity with hotel facilities to meet all guest requests
  • Embody the hotel's service values and bring them to life in interactions with guests
Requirements:
  • Qualifications in hospitality management
  • Relevant experience in a similar establishment for at least 3 years
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead people
