Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated professional to enhance community resilience through disaster education and awareness, as well as implementing and delivering a Community Resilience Network (CRN) to support disaster operations and recovery.

  • Undertaking community-based initiatives to promote disaster preparedness and response
  • Building strong relationships with key agencies involved in community recovery

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Community disaster education and awareness
  2. Implementing and delivering a CRN to support disaster operations and recovery
  3. Assisting communities to rebuild and recover after a disaster

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in community development and capacity building
  • Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills
  • Public speaking, facilitation, and training expertise
  • Project management and reporting capabilities

Desirable Skills:

  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience in disaster management operations
