Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring high-level hardware and software assets are maintained and optimised.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Day-to-day servicing, calibrations and maintenance
  • Configuration of security systems hardware and software
  • Diagnoses fault and repairs on security head end systems
  • Software load and configuration of EBI / DVM systems
  • Small to medium project installations including managing subcontractors
  • Estimates materials costs and quantities and ordering parts
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers and service recipients
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as Service Technician customer facing and/or similar related
  • Strong understanding of computer networking and IT related processes
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication, including strong negotiation and influencing skills for all stakeholders internal and external
  • Security Installer and Consultant Licence advantageous
  • Restricted Electrical license – advantageous
  • Valid driver's licence
