Job Title: Community Development Officer

A community-focused role is available to enhance resilience in the community by developing and implementing initiatives and programs.

About the Role

The role involves undertaking disaster education and awareness, implementing a Community Resilience Network (CRN) to support disaster operations and recovery, assisting communities to rebuild and recover after a disaster, and implementing community development initiatives and programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in community development and capacity building
  • Collaboration and negotiation skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Public speaking, facilitation, and training abilities
  • Project management and reporting skills

You will also need to be tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and have experience in disaster management operations.
