Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take on a leadership role and manage a team of skilled technicians.

The department provides essential engineering and maintenance support services on the site, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for providing maintenance solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability, leading and managing a Mechanical trades team, and developing close working relationships with personnel in Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and Quality.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering, and at least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position. Experience in a GMP environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide maintenance and engineering solutions to improve plant and equipment reliability
  • Lead and manage a Mechanical trades team
  • Develop close working relationships with personnel in Operations, Electrical & Instrumentation, System Owner Group, Planning & Support Group, and Quality
  • Investigate process, plant, and equipment failures, determine the cause of failure, and develop permanent solutions
  • Provide technical advice in Manufacturing facilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electromechanical or Process Engineering
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance engineering position
  • Experience in a GMP environment (advantageous)
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role overseeing contractors or trades
