Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at QML Pathology, part of Healius Ltd., a leading healthcare company in Australia.

About the Role

  • Collect blood samples from patients with care and attention.
  • Keep accurate records for every patient and sample.
  • Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times.
  • Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing.
  • Liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection.
  • Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy.
  • Organized, with strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic.
  • Hold a valid Driver's license and have flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
  • Hold a Working With Children's Check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident or New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work.

Estimated Salary: AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per year
