About the Role

SBS is committed to deepening its connections with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and we're seeking an experienced Indigenous Engagement Specialist to support our efforts.

This role will involve ongoing engagement and consultation with key stakeholders, implementing our engagement plan in line with our Community Impact Strategy, and providing analysis of Indigenous policy matters as needed.

As part of the Engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility Team, you'll work to ensure that relevant community and cultural considerations are addressed in the team's work and outputs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indigenous communities, cultures, and protocols, as well as excellent networks, organisation, and writing skills.

We're looking for someone who can build relationships, trust, and work effectively with external stakeholders and partners at all levels, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
