About the Role

VMCH is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Support Assistant to join our Homecare team. As a Community Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our valued residents, enabling them to live more fulfilling and independent lives.

About You

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering person-centered care and is committed to fostering positive relationships with our residents and their families. You will be responsible for providing support with daily living activities, such as personal care, domestic tasks, and social and recreational activities.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
  • Current Victorian Driver's License and reliable vehicle
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home and Community Care or equivalent
  • Current Police Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in providing personal care, domestic assistance, and social support to older people in a community setting
