The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer to undertake major upgrades and replacement of existing infrastructure and facilities to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

Your Role

As a Safety Administrator, you will report to the Safety Manager and be responsible for delivering accurate and timely administrative support to the team, contributing to the successful and safe delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Entering and extracting data from the incident management system
  • Assisting site teams with training materials and presentations
  • Supporting, coordinating, and providing advice on safety practices, systems, and procedures across the project
  • Communicating safety requirements to subcontractors onsite
  • Preparing and updating all required Project Safety Plans and registers
Requirements
  • Relevant experience working as a Safety Administrator within the construction industry
  • Knowledge of project risk management controls and actions
  • Knowledge of auditing, safety inspections, and compliance reporting procedures and processes
  • Experience in document compliance procedures and processes and understanding of technology to support SHE(Q) systems
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally
