About the Role:
CBP Contractors is seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contract Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for the procurement and contract management of subcontract packages, cost forecasting, control, and reporting, as well as the administration of the Head Contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance in the procurement, letting, engagement, and administration of subcontractors and suppliers to perform the Contract works.
- Manage subcontracts post-contract execution, including processing accruals and ensuring costs are committed.
- Coordinate day-to-day commercial aspects of the site, including invoicing, progress claims, and docket entry.
- Assist with variations with subcontractors and clients, evaluating and negotiating contractual claims.
- Prepare cost reports and subcontractor cash flow forecasts.
Requirements:
- Tertiary (Bachelor) degree in Engineering, Commerce, Accounting, Business, Law, or associated disciplines.
- 5+ years' contracts experience in building, with a strong understanding of MS Excel and MS Word.
- High level of financial knowledge and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate commitment to safety, teamwork, and the ability to build strong relationships.
